About Brian

Partner, Director of Strategic Communications

Brian has 14 years of professional publishing experience in both Canada and the U.S. across daily news, magazines, and online publications. After graduating from the Medill School of Journalism master’s program at Northwestern University in 2015, Brian spent the next six years working in cannabis media for GIE Media’s Cannabis Group, consisting of Cannabis Business Times, Cannabis Dispensary magazine, Hemp Grower, and the Cannabis Conference. There, he honed his writing, editing, and business-to-business communications skills, helping destigmatize and normalize a rapidly growing cannabis industry as associate editor, senior editor, and managing editor. Until December 2021, Brian was directly involved in all levels of writing, editing, and planning of print, digital, and client-sponsored content, winning national awards from the American Society of Business Publication Editors (ASBPE) for his individual (Best Company Profile 2018, 2020) and group work (Magazine of the Year, 2018). Since November 2021, he has worked as a freelance communications specialist focusing on small businesses and nonprofits, including copywriting, ghostwriting, editing, website development, stakeholder communications, and social media. He is keenly looking for opportunities in the Bitcoin space!

Our Team

Lemonny, Director of Shenanigans

Need something chewed? Require a dose of zoomies? Prefer a series of borks to get you through the day? Lemonny is master to none. This girl, while only 9 months old, contributes to Guerrera Agency in a major way by stepping on keyboards, keeping consultants awake with lots of borks, and generally causing mayhem to keep things interesting.

Sabrina, Director of Snoozles

When a hard deadline is fast approaching and consultants work late into the night, Sabrina pulls their slack by sleeping around the clock to make up for lost hours. This hardworking girl ensures that every team member has their 8 hours accounted for. When not napping, Sabrina can be found lounging in a sunbeam or rolling around in grass.

Tadpole, Director of Borks

Tadpole embodies what it means to “get the word out.” Tadpole’s likes to keep the team alert by ensuring they are well apprised of every bird, person, dog, siren, delivery driver, rabbit, and wind gust that goes by. While Tadpole’s smile is mischievous, his chaotic tendencies are easy to tame, a snacko or two does just the trick!

Ellie, Director of Smellz

Ellie is a 6-year-old Lab-Terrier Mix who serves as Guerrera: The Agency’s Director of Smells. When she’s not sniffing plants and every blade of grass during walks, she likes to nap on her parents’ bean bag couch and get belly rubs. Ellie suffered from a genetic condition common to terriers that caused severe glaucoma and forced her to have her eyes surgically removed in Spring 2023. Despite this, she’s still a very good girl.
